Well I am a brand new blogger! I actually joined so that I could look at and comment on Lindsey's blog. But I figured while I'm at it I should create a blog for Jared and myself. It will be a way to keep everyone posted on our lives. It's like our couples journal. Now isn't that cheesy.
Jared and I were married on June 25th, 2008 in the Manti LDS Temple. So we're brand new newlyweds. YAY! We met three years ago in June and it was true love right from the get go. We dated for five months before Jared left to serve a mission in Micronesia, Guam. So while he was half a world away for two whole years I waited faithfully while going to school. When he got home in November of 07' we picked up right where we had left off.
Jared is attending Utah Valley University and working for a company called AirCom USA. It's a fax to e-mail service. And I graduated from Southern Utah University in May of 08' with a Bachelor's in English Literature and a minor in Elementary Reading. I am currently working as a receptionist at a doctor's office. (I know. What a way to use my major!)
We live in Orem on Geneva Road and we love it. We have a great ward and it's a great neighborhood.
We both have big dreams for our family. Jared would like to open his own business eventually. He's not sure what that business will be just yet. But he'll get there. I'd like him to begin a publishing company so that I'd have someone to publish my books. But that's not quite his cup of tea. So it looks like I'll have to get published elsewhere. We both can't wait to have kids. We don't know how many we'll have just yet. We decided we'd wait and see how many children Heavenly Father has in mind for us before putting an exact number on our clan.
But in the meantime we're loving our lives and having a great time being married!
